Elite Barrows
Elite Barrows is a wave-style minigame featuring enhanced versions of the Barrows brothers with new mechanics.
Access
Use an Elite Barrows Teleport scroll to enter. You can:
- Use it on yourself for solo mode
- Use it on another player to duo the minigame
tip
Elite Barrows Teleport scrolls can be obtained from regular Barrows, especially when using Barrows Chest Keys from daily activities.
How It Works
Elite Barrows is a 3-wave fight with increasing difficulty:
- Wave 1: 1 brother
- Wave 2: 2 brothers
- Wave 3: 3 brothers
The order and combination of brothers is randomly generated each run.
After using the teleport, activate the Mysterious Idol to start the fight.
Solo vs Duo
| Mode | Brother HP | Purple Chest Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Solo | 600 HP | 1/16 |
| Duo | 1,000 HP | 1/32 |
Enhanced Brother Mechanics
Each brother has upgraded abilities compared to regular Barrows:
Ahrim the Blighted
- Deals moderate magic damage
- Freezes the player for 10 seconds
Karil the Tainted
- Deals fast moderate ranged damage
- Applies venom
- Drains run energy
Verac the Defiled
- Deals moderate melee damage
- Can cause bleed damage
- Has a smiting effect (drains prayer)
Guthan the Infested
- Deals moderate melee damage
- Heals when damaging the player
- Has a vengeance attack that reflects damage
Dharok the Wretched
- Deals low to high melee damage based on his current health
- More dangerous as his HP drops
Torag the Corrupted
- Deals very low damage
- No special mechanics (the easy one!)
Strategy
- Pray against the most dangerous brother in multi-brother waves
- Kill Dharok quickly before his damage ramps up
- Bring anti-venom for Karil encounters
- Manage prayer points carefully due to Verac's smiting
- Be prepared for freeze from Ahrim
